Pictured here is 8-year old Adriana Armstrong (daughter of SHE TEAM member Susan Armstrong) with a big Eastern gobbler. “A” is be-lieved to be the youngest girl to com-plete the turkey slam and she did it when she was just 7 years old! Read more about Adriana and other SHE TEAM Kids in this special edition.

SHE Outdoor Apparel

offers discerning women expanded line of fashion- able, form-fitting, high quality, out-door clothing. In addi-tion to the original SHE Safari collection, this Texas based company offers SHE Upland, SHE Camo, SHE Shooting, SHE Style and the new SHE Ad-venture Collection.

In this special edition of the SHE TEAM NEWS we want to celebrate the kids of our team members. These rising stars will be the next genera-tion of conservation stew-ards.

Members of the SHE Out-door Apparel pro/advisory and field staff comprise the SHE TEAM. It is a di-verse group of talented women from all across the country. We know our team members are proud of their kids and we are too! We wanted a chance to show off all their ac-complishments, potential, personalities and promise.

We are taking this oppor-tunity to get to know our SHE TEAM kids a little better.

SHE Outdoor Apparel Presi-dent, Pam Zaitz is also a working mother. “We know that each team member works hard to help us achieve our goals, but that her kids are her top priority,” said Pam. “We are so pleased to present this special edition of the SHE TEAM NEWS—Celebrating Our SHE TEAM Kids!”

Every Idea Has A Catalyst

SHE TEAM NEWS editor, Brenda Potts, received this enthusiastic Email from team member Kriss Tripp and an idea was born. “As coordinator of the SHE TEAM, I love getting Emails and pictures from the team when they share stories of their kids. When Kriss sent me this note an idea was born,” said Brenda. “Thanks to all the team members for helping us celebrate the kids!”

A NOTE FROM KRISS TRIPP “My children and I just got back from spending three days in Donaphin, NE at the state trap meet. There were about 1800 kids there. Markee took first in the Junior overall team. Zak won the senior over all 16 yards. He shot a perfect 100 and they had a shoot off with three kids that shot 100. The shoot off went three rounds of 25's. Zak won it shooting 174 out of 175 tar-gets. I am such a proud momma!!! As a single mom times like this make it all worth not having a life of my own. LOL I am so happy for both of my children. They should both be in the next USA Shooting Mag. I just wanted to brag about the two of them a bit.”

she-article-02.jpgThis is a great example of why I love to say “I‟m a part of the SHE TEAM”. What mom doesn‟t like to brag on her kids from time to time? My two beautiful kiddos surprise me each and every day. When I am feeling guilty for having to “leave again” for a camp, they are the first to say “It‟s ok mom, just make sure to call and give us an update”. I know that each and every trip I make away from home they sacrifice time right along with me.

she-article-03.jpgBoth kids have had the great fortune to grow up in this wonderful industry and very much enjoy the pas-sion for hunting. My son Keedin can‟t wait until the ripe age of 12 so he can FINALLY shoot a big game animal in our fine state of Wyoming. However, my daughter Kinlee turned 12 last August just in time for the hunting season to arrive and what a season she had.

She started with an archery antelope hunt on her birth-day. She sat in her blind for a whopping 45 minutes before she she-article-04.jpgsmacked a great buck. I was so proud of her and a bit jealous because it never happens that quickly for me! Then at the very end of rifle mule deer sea-son she took a beautiful mule deer after hunting about 2 hours. Then ended her season with a great little spike whitetail on the second day of her hunt. She blossomed into an ac-complished hunter in just a few months. The kicker to her successful season is each hunt was filmed and used on our new show “Life at Table she-article-05.jpgMountain” and “Mathews TV”. All this ex-citement, while her younger brother settles for skinning her game, for the time being. He is such a good brother. Spring Bear season here in Idaho got the kids out of school a bit early to join me. We will entertain many clients this season but again Kinlee is anxious to try her hand at bear hunt-ing as well. With her luck she won‟t be waiting long. While Keedin will be our dog handler, skinner, packer, camera kid and hunting buddy.
